Anderson Windows Prices : Company : Home Depot Anderson Windows Home Depot
Explore Anderson Windows Home Depot in terms of their history, window series options, and price point you can expect. The big box store Home Depot has sold Anderson windows, in one form or another, for nearly two decades. Scroll down to learn more about Anderson and HD.
A Brief HistoryStarting around 2008, HD began carrying the Anderson 100 series window, which was and continues to be one of their premium window offerings. Interestingly, the 100 series is Andersons least expensive product line. (Of course, this is in part because the 100 is a composite window and all other series of theirs are wood windows and doors.) Prior to this, HD had carried both American Craftsman and Silverline, which I discuss in more detail below. Home Depot Anderson BrandsFor over 25 years, HD has sold Silverline and American Craftsman as two of their entry level vinyl windows. At the time, Andersen Windows And Doors owned both of these brands. However, in 2012, the Anderson corporation sold off these budget brands for a sizable profit.
Price PointsHome Depot charges the following price points on a standard sized single or double hung window (not including installation, which typically accounts for 35% of any project).
My AdviceAnderson Windows Home Depot are very popular as they combine these two well known brands. The Anderson 100 series is a good window, well priced, and looks quite nice. However, it's not a world beat in terms of overall energy efficiency. Assuming you can find a quality installer, I say it’s worth serious consideration.
